Open Shopping Floor

The BHFP open-shopping floor is our primary method of food distribution. Like the traditional super-market, clients browse aisles and select the items they’d like. Our floor features six sections: produce; dairy and prepared foods; bakery; frozen; packaged dry goods; bulk repackaged dry goods.

Fresh Food Friday

Fresh Food Friday is a drop-by food distribution program of perishable goods. All are welcome to stop by the pantry on Fridays to select food and chat with community members. Fresh Food Friday plays multiple roles, including getting healthy food into the community, reducing food waste, and facilitating community connection.

Timberwolf Community Cupboard

The Timberwolf Community Cupboard is a satellite pantry ensuring access to fresh food for Trenton residents. It is maintained by the Trenton Elementary School Growing Up Green Team and produce is provided by us, the Bar Harbor Food Pantry and Healthy Acadia, one of our community partners.

Serendipity Resale Clothing Boutique

Serendipity Retail Clothing Boutique is a second-hand clothing store operated by the Bar Harbor Food Pantry. It serves the dual purpose of providing affordable clothing to the community and raising funds to help sustain the organization’s food distribution programs.
